Description

Learn all about cover crops and how you can use them to slow erosion, improve soil health, enhance water availability, help control pests, weeds, and diseases, increase biodiversity, and bring a host of other benefits to your garden. This informational presentation features Eric Carlberg, Program Director and Garden Coordinator for Westosha Senior Community Center. Eric has over 15 years of sustainable farming experience and manages the center's 1-acre vegetable production. In addition to an in-depth overview of cover crops, Eric will share how Westosha incorporates cover crops in a large garden setting into their overall soil health program.
