The Gilbert M. Simmons Library, a cornerstone of education and cultural enrichment, marks its 125th anniversary this year. Opened in 1900, the library has been a beacon of knowledge and learning for generations. Over the decades, it has evolved from a modest collection of books to a modern hub of digital resources, community programs, and lifelong learning opportunities.
Join us to celebrate the anniversary of the inauguration day with special tours, speakers and more! Seating is limited, we encourage bringing a folding chair. This event will take place outdoors, weather permitting.
