Fun, Fit, FRIDAYS! Join the KPL Outreach, Programs and Education team for friendly all ages themed walks! The best part is earning free books and KPL swag. Meet Fridays in July & August at 8:30 a.m. by the beach pavilion at Lake Andrea/Froggy's Landing in Pleasant Prairie. We will walk the paved loop around Lake Andrea (2.25 miles) and earn a free book every 4th loop! 

Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle!

Families and adults without children are all welcome. Children must be supervised by a grown-up.

Walks will be canceled in the event of severe weather and heavy rain.

Fridays:

July 10: Red, White and Blue Walk; wear patriotic, festive clothing!

July 17: Sports Walk; dress to rep your favorite team and stay for some post walk sports fun.

July 24: Christmas in July; wear holiday inspired clothing!

July 31: Nature scavenger hunt.

August 7: Wear Super Hero inspired clothing. First 12 kids present will receive a superhero mask and cape. 

August 14: Get Fit Walk; walk will incorporate some work out elements.

August 21: Hawaiian Walk 

August 28: Pajama Walk followed by a breakfast treat.
